Hot, dry weather has helped dry corn in the fields. Ebert Farms west of Algoma was harvesting when this shot was taken Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 18. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, about 3.7 million acres of corn was planted in Wisconsin this year.
