At Village Park, Kordell Draves had an RBI single in the first inning before the A’s broke it open with five runs in the second. Lacey doubled home a run, Deprez had an RBI single and Reinhardt drove in a pair.

Patrick Daniels and Reinhardt went back-to-back in the fourth, blasting solo home runs, and Routhieaux added a two-run shot in the sixth. Reinhardt and Draves each had a pair of hits.

Meanwhile, Denmark’s Gavin Rusch threw a perfect game at home Monday, striking out 13 of the 27 batters he faced in an 8-0 win over Kewaunee. Brennen Miller had three hits and Jacob Kleeman two doubles for the Devilbears.

The Chiefs turned it around at home Wednesday night, 10-5. Cale Beckman struck out 9 in 5.1 innings, and Waylon Delain earned the save.

Reese Berg had two hits and four RBI, Brett Paulsen two hits including a double and two RBI, and Connor Kilgore a pair of hits to lead Kewaunee.

The Chiefs were scheduled to host Denmark in game three Thursday night (after our deadline) for a shot at hosting Casco for game one of the championship series Monday night.
Casco and Kewaunee split during the regular season, the Chiefs winning 3-0 at home July 24 and the A’s winning at Casco 10-4 July 29.

Meanwhile, the Devilbears split with the A’s, winning 5-0 June 15 and falling at Casco, 3-2 Aug. 3. Kewaunee beat Denmark twice in the regular season, 5-4 June 17 and 5-3 July 17.

Casco pitcher and outfielder Owen Deprez was named the 2026 Shoreland League’s Most Valuable Player, becoming the seventh A’s player in team history to win the award.
