Three area students earn agricultural scholarships

Posted

NORTHEAST WIS. – Country Visions and CP Feeds, LLC have awarded $1,000 scholarships to 33 graduating high school seniors — including three local students — as a part of their annual initiative to support students’ educational journeys.

Their scholarship program assists local students who aspire to further their education at a college, university or technical/vocational school. All members and employees of Country Visions Cooperative and CP Feeds, LLC, along with their children planning to pursue post-secondary education, are eligible to apply for these awards.

The scholarship recipients were chosen from a competitive pool of highly qualified candidates based on academic performance, recommendations, personal essays, extracurricular involvement, work experience and application completion. Preference was given to students pursuing a degree in agriculture.

Country Visions and CP Feeds are awarding the 2025 scholarships to three local students: Alex Kirchman of Algoma High School, and Blake Jauquet and Caleb Salentine of Luxemburg-Casco High School.

Country Visions and CP Feeds assert they are deeply committed to agriculture and aim to support the ongoing education of students who share that passion. With the continuous advancements in technology and opportunities within agriculture-related businesses, the field now offers a wider array of career choices. The companies hope to maintain this scholarship program for students. To learn more about the eligibility requirements, visit www.countryvisionscoop.com/About/Community-Involvement.
