Tim Treml, Bank of Luxemburg Executive Vice President/Chief Lending Officer, was promoted to president at the start of the year. He will replace John Slatky, who plans to retire in June after 23 years as president/CEO and will remain on staff during the transition period.

“Bank of Luxemburg’s purpose is ‘To have a positive impact on people’s lives,’” Treml said. “This purpose is what our staff believes makes our relationships with customers special. I look forward to working with our staff to continue fulfilling this vision in the communities we serve.”

Treml has been with Bank of Luxemburg for nearly 22 years, including the last seven as chief lending officer and two as executive vice president.

In the community, Treml served as president on the Luxemburg Chamber of Commerce and was named its Man of the Year in 2013. He also served three years as treasurer to Kewaunee County Economic Development Corporation, co-chaired the EastShore Industries Annual Golf Outing for 13 years, served more than 16 years as treasurer to Ducks Unlimited and is a former rescue squad member.

Darren Voigt has assumed the responsibilities of chief lending officer. Voigt has been with the bank since 2014 and has over 25 years of banking experience, including consumer and mortgage lending, business and commercial banking and treasury management.
