Two in a row for Hall’s Calf Ranch

LUXEMBURG – Janda’s Bar and Grill in Luxemburg played host to a celebration of local accomplishments in the bowling world on June 21 following the conclusion of recent United States Bowling Congress (USBC) tournaments in Oshkosh and Fond Du Lac.
The Hall’s Calf Ranch team, made up of Georgia Stangel, Bethany Marcks, Jolyn Schleis and Mariah Jerabek brought home a first place finish for the second year in a row, which has never been done before according to squad leader Ellen Siebold, who handed out prize money at the event to 26 of the 40 local participants making up 10 teams.

Another team that is a regular fixture at the Kewaunee Bowl, the B.S. Bowlers, made up of Nicole Barta, Sarah Pecinovsky, Ashley Barta and Kristalyn Barta took third place in the tournament.
In all, the 10 teams from the area competing in the event won just over $5,000.
