On the night of Wednesday, July 24 and Thursday morning, July 25, the biannual Point in Time Count (PIT) for the Homeless will be held in Kewaunee County.

The count is being organized by Lakeshore CAP and is done all over the United States.

Participating the twice-a-year count helps the community procure funding. 

Organizations such as Lakeshore CAP, United Way, Violence Intervention Project (VIP) and Salvation Army can use the data to help fund their programs.

Volunteers are needed and training will be provided.
