DENMARK – The community is cordially invited to the grand opening celebration of the Community First Credit Union Community Center and Brown County’s new Denmark Branch Library, located at 150 N. Wall Street, Denmark, on Wednesday, Sept. 23 from 3:30–6 p.m.
The festivities will begin at 3:30 p.m. with the presentation and raising of the American flag by the VFW Auxiliary, a performance of the national anthem and a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Greater Green Bay Chamber Ambassadors. Guest speakers include elected officials, project representatives and others.
Originally established in 1921, this location has been a vital part of the community for over a century and will continue to serve its purpose for years to come. Hear about the transformation of a former school into a modern and functional facility. The passion and commitment of a dedicated team along with the support of the community that brought this project to life will be celebrated.
Following the ribbon cutting, everyone in the community is invited to enjoy a variety of open-house activities such as self-guided tours, library card sign-up, carnival and board games, crafts for children and refreshments in the Community Commons.
