At what age did you start playing softball?

I started playing softball when I was five years old.

Who introduced you to the sport?

My sister joined softball and I thought she was cool, so I joined too!

How has balancing academics and athletics been different for you from your freshman year to your senior year?

Balancing academics and softball has been different from freshman year to senior year because I am in significantly more difficult classes now. All of my teachers are really helpful with keeping me up to date on what we are learning though.

Is there a professional athlete you look up to? If so, who?

The professional athlete that I look up to is Serena Williams.

How does it feel as a senior, to look back throughout high school and see your growth?

It’s definitely awesome looking back at who I was as an athlete and a person and seeing how much I have grown. I’m so happy with where I am now and how everything turned out.

Any memorable coaches or teammates you’d like to give a shout out to?

I would love to shout out Dawn Hanson who has coached me throughout the majority of my softball career and taught me so much. Also, a shout out to all of my teammates this year. I love practice and we have so much fun in the dugout during games.

Future plans?

I am playing Division 1 softball for UW-Green Bay and I plan to major in environmental engineering
