Friday, Jan. 8

Clay on Steele Open House: 5:30- 8 p.m., 221 Steele St., Algoma, take a tour of the studio and check out our gallery, classes and membership opportunities.

Strong Bones Exercise Program: 9-10 a.m., Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1012 Wisconsin Ave., Kewaunee, $10.

Baby Story Time:  10 a.m., Algoma Public Library, 406 Fremont St., Algoma, snowmen stories.

VIP Presentation on Touching: 10 a.m., Algoma Public Library, 406 Fremont St., Algoma, parents and children are invited to attend this presentation.  Topics will include general safety rules, identifying body parts, reading a short story, explaining what the touching rule is, and what to do if someone breaks the rule.

Saturday, Jan. 9

Algoma Fire and Rescue Tree Pick-up: noon, please have your tree to the curb by 11 a.m.; questions, contact Tom Vandernack at 920-487-3064.

Casco Fire Department Tree Pick-up: 10 a.m., no flocked trees please.

Carlton Hunting and Fishing Club eighth annual Club Fundraiser:  4 p.m.-midnight, Heritage Farm, Wisconsin 42, free food, live music, gun raffle, no admissions charge.

Sunday, Jan. 10

Porkie-Pancake Breakfast at Holy Rosary Parish: 9 a.m., noon, 521 Juneau St., Kewaunee, takeout available, adults $6, children 5-12, $3, sponsored by Knights of Columbus Father Marquette Council.

Monday, Jan. 11

Anime Club: 3:30-5 p.m., Algoma Public Library, 408 Fremont St., Algoma, for grades 6-12, watch anime of your choice and we will have books on drawing and reading anime, first meeting of new Anime Club.

Kewaunee WIC Draft Issuance: 1-3 p.m., Kewaunee County Public Health Department, 810 Lincoln St., Kewaunee

City of Kewaunee Common Council meeting: 7 p.m., 401 Fifth St., Kewaunee.

Tuesday, Jan. 12

Algoma Optimists Club:  7 a.m., Caffe’ Tlazo, 607 Fourth St., Algoma

Immunization Clinic: 1-4 p.m., Kewaunee County Public Health Department, 810 Lincoln St., Kewaunee, appointment required, call 920-388-7100.

Casco Village Board Meeting: 7 p.m., 309 Sixth St., Casco.

Wed, Jan. 13

Strong Bones Exercise Program: 9-10 a.m., Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1012 Wisconsin Ave., Kewaunee, $10.

Blood Pressure Clinic: 10-11:30 a.m., St. John’s Lutheran Church, 700 Heritage Road, Luxemburg.

Immunization Clinic: 3-6 p.m., Kewaunee County Public Health Department, 810 Lincoln St., Kewaunee.

Thursday, Jan. 14

Kewaunee Rotary Club: 11:45 a.m., The Cork, 306 Ellis St, Kewaunee, $11 for lunch and presentation, all are welcome.

Craft with Marshmallows: 5:30-6:30 p.m., Algoma Public Library, 408 Fremont St., Algoma, families are invited to craft with marshmallows while enjoying hot chocolate, free.

Luxemburg-Casco 4K Informational meeting:  6-7 p.m., Luxemburg-Casco Primary School, cafeteria, 512 Center St., for parents and guardians of children that will be eligible for 4-year-old kindergarten for the 2016-2017 school year and for community members who want to learn more about the program.

Friday, Jan. 15

Baby Story Time: 10 a.m., Algoma Public library, 408 Fremont St., Algoma, Winnie the Pooh and Teddy Bears.

Saturday, Jan. 16

Used book sale:  10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Hillcrest School, Center Street entrance, Kewaunee, sponsored by Friends of the Library.
