Spartans replace girls basketball coach

LUXEMBURG – The Luxemburg-Casco School District has recently hired Jeff Jodar as its varsity girls basketball coach, according to district superintendent Glenn Schlender.
Jodar replaces Della Otradovec, who was entering her fourth season.
“I’m not really at liberty to comment,” Schlender said to USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin on Nov. 23 about why the school district made a coaching change.
Schlender said, “The district decided to make a change, and we made it.”
Otradovec did not respond to USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin’s interview requests to comment on the coaching change.
The Luxemburg-Casco girls basketball team opened its season with an 82-28 home win over Waupaca on Nov. 22.
Jodar was the team’s head coach for two seasons, from 2011-13.
