Saturday, April 22

• CLEAN SWEEP HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION, 8 a.m. to noon, Kewaunee County Highway Shop-Hillside Location, E2180 Wisconsin 54, Casco. Preregistration requested. 920-845-9700, www.kewauneeco.org.

•SPRING TREE CARE PROGRAM, 9 a.m., Algoma City Hall, 416 Fremont St., Algoma. Dan Traas, arborist and forester, discusses tree selection, placement, planting and care. Free. Questions call 920-487-8136.

• UGLY PURSE AUCTION, 7 p.m., Jim’s Bar and Bowl, 312 Main St., Casco. Karaoke, chili and more. Proceeds from the purse auction benefit the Casco Volunteer Fire Dept. 920-837-2152.

• CELEBRATE EARTH DAY, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., NextEra Point Beach Energy Center, 6400 Nuclear Road, 10 miles north of Two Rivers. Noon to 2 p.m., meet a python, tegu, chameleon, kinkajou, wallaby, armadillo and macaw. Experience snakes, salamanders, toads, turtles and more with Woodland Dunes and Ledgeview Nature Center. See birds and other animals that Wildlife of Wisconsin is rehabilitating to return to the wild. See how much energy it takes to make electricity by riding the Energy Bike.
