Eagles roll past Storm

BRUSSELS – Southern Door scored six runs in the first three innings for a 6-1 Packerland Conference win over Kewaunee on Tuesday.
Gabby Atkins was 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored for Southern Door, while Hailey Geyer went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Hanna Mallien went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Grace LeGrave added an RBI for the Eagles.
Mallien got the win, throwing 6.2 innings with one run allowed on four hits and six strikeouts.
For Kewaunee, Mackenzie Thlachac had an RBI on one hit, while Savannah Gardner, Brooke Geier and Ellie Olsen each had a hit.
Olsen took the loss, throwing six innings.
MONDAY
Algoma 11, Sevastopol 1 (6)
ALGOMA – An eight-run fifth inning propelled the Wolves to the Packerland Conference win.
Mikayla Haack threw a complete game with 10 strikeouts for Algoma.
Haack and Missy Srnka both went 2-for-3 with three RBI, while Karina Naze had an RBI on two hits.
FRIDAY
Luxemburg-Casco 12, Little Chute 2 (5)
LITTLE CHUTE – Cassie Dart went 4-for-4 and scored three runs to lead the Spartans in the North Eastern Conference game.
Sierra Shefchik pitched a complete game, giving up two runs on five hits and striking out two.
Madysen Thayse tripled twice on three hits with three RBI.
Kewaunee 13, Fox Valley Lutheran 6
KEWAUNEE – An eight run third inning powered the Storm to the nonconference win.
Brooke Geier led Kewaunee, hitting 4-for-4 with a home run, triple and two RBI.
Alaina Ledvina, Liz Lauscher and Hailey Gaedtke each tallied two hits for Kewaunee.
Gaedtke struck out five in a complete game win.
