Send your organization’s events and activities to [email protected] or P.O. Box 86, Kewaunee, WI 54216, preferably two weeks in advance but no later than noon Tuesday for the Saturday edition. 

Friday-Saturday, March 2-3

BOGO BOOK SALE, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Book Corner, 401 Third St., Algoma. Buy a craft, how-to or self-help book and get another book free. Sale runs Fridays and Saturdays through March. Proceeds to the Algoma Public Library. 920-495-8440.

Saturday, March 3 

SNOWMOBILE FUNDRAISER, 3 p.m., Heritage Farm, N2251 State 42, south of Kewaunee. For Kewaunee Moonriders Snowmobile Club. Free admission, food; raffles with winners drawn at 7 p.m. Live music by country band I-45, 8 p.m.-midnight. www.moonridersinc.org.

Sunday, March 4

Thursday, March 8

SPORTSMENS MEETING, 7 p.m., Rendezvous of Luxemburg, E0896 County N, Luxemburg. Guests welcome to monthly meeting of Algoma-Kewaunee Area Great Lakes Sport Fishermen. Speaker is Dan Isermann from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, leader of the USGS Wisconsin Cooperative Fishery Research Unit at the school. 920-609-9575.

Saturday, March 10 

SPORTSMEN BANQUET, 4 p.m. start, 6 p.m. dinner, Rendezvous of Luxemburg, E0896 County N, Luxemburg. Algoma-Kewaunee Area Great Lakes Sport Fishermen’s 31st annual banquet. Prime rib and chicken served family-style for dinner. Raffles, silent auction, prizes and more. $40 adults, $15 ages 16 and younger. Tickets available at the Rendezvous or call Mark, 920-609-9575.

Sunday, March 11
