Ludlow: Time to introduce ‘sprinter’ as new season in Wisconsin

Hi, everyone. Welcome to "sprinter," otherwise known as winter in spring. I saw on Facebook that the police are officially searching for Mother Nature. The official notice said that she is bipolar and is believed to be off her medication.
Just when all our snow was just about gone, she dumped another boatload of white stuff all over this area. And I thought maybe we were done for the season. But this is Wisconsin and we generally get at least one good storm in April. Now we can just hope this is the last one.
I already have my golf clubs in my trunk. Maybe that was a little premature, you think?
I don't know how much snow we got, but it was quite a bit, judging by the big pile in the vacant lot next door.
Then, to make matters worse, my garage door, with a mind of its own, decided to act up
I went out to bowl Tuesday morning and when I came home, my garage door would only go up about six inches. It needs some spare parts to repair it, so my car sat outside in the snow storm.
When I moved here a few years ago, this was the first time I've had a garage. Living downtown above the store, we had a carport on the back of the building. It had a roof, but wasn't enclosed. So having a real garage was definitely a luxury that I got used to real quickly.
Okay, I'll quit whining for now. Here's something cute I saw on Facebook yesterday. It was posted by a person named Deb Allison.
“I suffer from ADCD, Attention Deficit Cleaning Disorder," Allison wrote.. "It's where you start to clean one thing, but get distracted by other things that need to be cleaned, that causes you to bounce around to different jobs, only to end up doing a lot of work with nothing to show for it.”
That is my problem in a nutshell. So then, I say the heck with it, turn on on the computer and waste the rest of the day.
Did you hear about the three football fans climbing a mountain? It included a Green Bay Packers fan, a Detroit Lions fan and a Chicago Bears fan.
The Lions fan yelled, “This is for the Lions,” and he jumped off the mountain. Then the Packers fan yelled, “And this if for the Green Bay Packers,” as he pushed the Bears fan off the mountain.
Don't take it seriously. I just thought it was cute.
The NFL draft is at the end of this month. It will be interesting to see who the Pack drafts. Will they take a wide receiver to replace Jordy Nelson? Only time will tell.
Have a great week, everyone!
