At what age did you start playing your main sport?
I started participating in track and field when I was 12, and I started running cross country when I was 15.

I was introduced to all three sports through school.

Outside of sports, do you have any hobbies or extracurriculars you enjoy?
I enjoy being outdoors and hanging with friends.
Throughout your time in high school, has your time management between school, practice and other commitments changed?
Freshman through Junior year, I would have practice after school, then go home and do homework. If I had extra time on the weekends or at night, I could talk with friends or maybe go out and do something. Now, in my senior year, I don’t have as many classes, so I have less homework. I have practice after school and a lot more time to enjoy my hobbies.
How do you think you’ve grown throughout your years in high school?
I’ve grown as an athlete by putting in more work every year and getting stronger. I have also grown as a person by being more social, gaining strength mentally, and helping others grow their confidence.
What motivates you athletically or academically?
My performance motivates me both athletically and academically. I want to be able to perform well at meets and games to win and in school I want to perform well in order to maintain a 4.0 GPA.
Do you have a favorite memory or experience from your high school sport?
How do you get ready for a game?
I spend time with my teammates and warm up to get ready for a game or meet.
Favorite pump up song before a game?
“Run This Town” by Jay-Z.
Do you have a favorite snack or meal to eat before a game?
For basketball, I always eat Subway before games. For cross country and track I like having a banana before the meet.
Is there someone, close or famous, that motivates you?
My family, friends, and coaches motivate me every day.
Has anyone, coach or teammate, been a big influence in your athletic career?
As you graduate high school, what is the thing you will miss most, either academically or athletically?
I will miss being with my teammates playing sports as well as talking to others in classes the most.
Future Plans? (college, major, career, etc.)
My future plan is to attend the UW-Platteville and major in civil engineering.
