LUXEMBURG – Bank of Luxemburg announced will close its branch location at Denny’s SuperValu in Algoma at 5 p.m. May 11.

The office at the grocery store, 514 5th St., is one of nine Bank of Luxemburg locations. It also has a main Algoma branch at 510 Second St., and Bank of Luxemburg President Tim Treml said the bank will now plan to enhance that location.

“Initially, the Denny’s branch allowed the bank to provide our unique brand of banking to the Algoma community,” Treml said. “The bank remains committed to the residents of Algoma and surrounding townships. The improvements will allow us to continue to have a positive impact on peoples’ lives in the Algoma community."
