Spartans in top of half of field at conference championship

LITTLE CHUTE – The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans had a very respectable showing at the North Eastern Conference track and field championship on Saturday, May 13 in Little Chute with the girls placing fourth with 76.5 points and the boys taking fifth with 51 points.

Girls medal winners

Gold- Lydia Morozov, Emily Ropson, Gabi Welch, McKenna Rank, 4×200 relay 1:49.09

Silver- Spencer Thiry, 1600 meters 4:43.38 (pr)

Bronze- Spencer Thiry, 800 meters 2:06.77; Trevor Beaupre, triple jump 41’03.75
