At what age did you start playing your sport(s)?

I started playing those three sports when I was around 7 years old.

Who introduced you to your sport(s)?
I guess you could say my mom, because she was the one who would sign me up to just try it and I ended up sticking with all three.

What is your favorite sport?
I would have to say football is my favorite sport.

How has balancing academics and athletics been different for you from your freshman year to your senior year?
In my freshman year I tried to be more of an athlete-student which I soon came to figure out didn’t work. By senior year I figured out that I have a lot less school stress if I just turn things in which helped me to give more focus to other areas such as athletics.

What is your favorite part about your sport(s)? What about it has caused you to stick with it for this long?
My favorite part is the friendships you get to make. The people you get to meet and relationships you get to make through these sports is incredible so that is definitely the best part.

Is there a professional athlete you look up to? If so, who?

I loved watching Ryan Braun over the years as a kid.

What would you say is your biggest asset on the court/field?
I feel as though I’m a pretty good leader so I am able to use that to have a more player-led team.

What has been your most memorable experience in high school sports so far?
One of my most memorable moments in high school sports was beating FVL in level one of the football playoffs. Being down by two touchdowns going into halftime and then coming back to win the game on a field goal was so exciting.

How does it feel as a senior, to look back throughout high school and see your growth (as a person and athlete)?
Over the past four years, I have grown to be more outgoing and more of an extrovert.

Do you have any pre-game rituals/routines/superstitions?
Before football games I would have a Liquid IV and a water from Kwik Trip, as well as listen to the same songs and wear the same undershirt.

Do you take any extra steps to prepare for a big game or event, outside of regular training?

A good meal and good rest.

What has been your favorite experience with being a senior this year?
My favorite experience with being a senior has been getting late start every other day. It’s really nice to sleep in the extra hour.

Any memorable coaches or teammates you’d like to give a shout out to?
Mike Snowberry, who coached me and my buddies in basketball until high school, and then football in high school.

Any hobbies outside of sports?
I like to hunt, fish, hang out with friends and watch sporting events.

Favorite food?
Pasta.

Favorite movie/TV show?

“The Brothers Grimsby.”

Future plans? (college, major, career, etc.)
I plan on starting my plumbing apprenticeship.
