Southern Door holds on over the Storm

Southern Door held on for a dramatic 64-61 win in a battle of Packerland Conference unbeatens Tuesday night at Kewaunee. The Storm trailed 22-12 in the first half and 39-32 in the second before heating up from beyond the arc, and in the paint. Every possession late in the game was intense. Here, 6-foot-3 freshman Diesel Bosdeck nearly had a steal against two-time Packerland Player of the Year, Drew Dauost. In back are Lauden Berg, Cooper Kolmorgen and Dane Harrell. Dauost poured in 22 of his 37 points and Berg 10 of his 15 in the second half for the Eagles. Connor Kilgore led a balanced Kewaunee attack with 14 points. Bosdeck and Avery Jerabek each added 13, Kolmorgen 11, Harrell 8 and Evan Maccoux 2. A rematch is set for Feb. 21 at Southern Door High School.
